Our Flats

All accommodation is on the ground floor with sufficient parking space available for one car per flat

 

There are 22 dwellings at Priceholme: 12 double flats and 10 single flats.   Each flat has a small garden at the rear which is the residents’ responsibility.  Allotments are available to residents on request to the Manager.

 

While each flat is unfurnished, the Trust is responsible for providing carpets and cookers.  It is also responsible for both external and internal repairs and decoration of the flats and the communal parts.

 

A communal laundry room with washing machines and driers is available.  Tokens can be purchased from the Manager during their working hours.

We provide safe and comfortable housing for elderly people of limited means.

Our community fosters friendship and support for all residents.

The application process is designed to be straightforward and welcoming.

Whilst residents must be able to live independently as there is no care provided on-site, we do offer assistance and support in navigating available social services and resources.

The Priceholme Trust CIO is a registered charitable incorporated organisation governed by the Charity Commission – registered charity number 1185571. 

It is a member of the Almshouse Association.  The original Trust Deed is dated the 16th of February 1959.
