A Commitment to Care

The Priceholme Trust manages unfurnished dwellings which were designed with the needs of older people in mind. There are 12 double and 10 single flats, each of which has a small area of garden within the communal gardens
The principle behind everything that the Trust does is that residents should enjoy independence and the freedom to come and go as they please while living in comfortable and secure accommodation. Residents should feel confident in the knowledge that support will always be available, whether from the Trust itself or from outside agencies, should the need arise.
Our Team
Our Manager carries out day to day administration and management of the flats and gardens. They watch over the health and welfare of beneficiary residents without unduly interfering in their lives or intruding on their privacy.
The Trustees, who give their services voluntarily, are responsible for administering the Trust and the appointment of beneficiary residents when vacancies occur. Trustees hold quarterly meetings on the premises, visit regularly and are available to the Manager and residents.
The Trust also has a Managing Agent as Clerk of Works in addition to providing secretarial and financial support.
Our gardens and communal areas
Priceholme is fortunate to have substantial gardens, maintained by the Trust and for the enjoyment of all residents and their respective visitors.
The communal areas include
-
Common Room and kitchen for the use of all residents and their visitors.
The Common Room is used by the Trustees for meetings and for any events organised by the Trustees and Managers but residents are very welcome to use this facility for social and family events. -

Our Decarbonisation Plan
At Priceholme we’re committed to creating affordable, comfortable, and sustainable living for the elderly in Sussex. We believe that caring for our residents goes hand in hand with caring for the environment. That’s why we’ve recently installed solar panels to generate clean, renewable energy and reduce our carbon footprint. In addition, we’re trialling two air source heat pumps in selected flats to explore more efficient and eco-friendly ways of providing heating and hot water. These initiatives are part of our ongoing effort to make our community greener, lower energy costs, and ensure a brighter, more sustainable future for all our residents.
